Bounce Tax

What it is

Bounce Tax is an endless one-thumb arcade game for iPhone. You steer a bouncing ball down an endless procedurally generated shaft, and every meaningful collision charges the bounce tax: a slice of your mass. The ball is your health bar, your wrecking ball and your key at the same time — big balls smash through barriers, small balls slip through loopholes, and a ball that shrinks too far pops.

Underneath it is a custom deterministic physics engine running at 240 Hz and drawn at 60 fps, with twenty authored chunk templates assembled procedurally and machine-checked so every route stays solvable. Runs are shaped by scoring streaks, a Tax Holiday fever burst, jackpot coin showers and power-ups on the route; between runs there are permanent upgrades, procedural ball cosmetics, missions and achievements, and your best depth is drawn into the world as a record line to smash through.

The rules it ships under

No subscription. No account. No analytics. Your data stays in the app's own storage on your iPhone, and deleting the app deletes it. Gem packs and two starter bundles are sold through the App Store; nothing is required to play.
